Senior Food Pantry

ISC offers food pantry services for adults aged 50 and older. ISC’s partners in this work are the Food Bank for the Heartland, Whispering Roots, and Saving Grace Perishable Food Rescue. We thank businesses, Omaha’s food pantry network, donors, and foundations for their support.

Please call 402-444-6529 if you are over the age of 50 in need of assistance. ISC case workers need to be able to speak to the recipient of the food pantry and will arrange for pick-up or delivery. If you are an administrator at a senior living community with a number of older adults in need, please call 402-444-6529 to discuss coordinated delivery options.

If you would like to donate to the food pantry, please consider this list of items we need the most:

  • Canned Fruit, Vegetables, and Soup
  • Tea
  • Bread
  • Dry Pasta
  • Cookies/Crackers
  • Cereal/Granola Bars
  • Peanut Butter/Jelly

Note: A portion of food received for the pantries may come through the USDA Emergency Food Assistance Program, also known as TEFAP. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
