How You Can Help

We have many opportunities for you to help make our seniors’ lives brighter on weekdays between 8 am and 4 pm. Whether it’s giving of your time, talent, or treasure, please contact us today to see how you can make a difference!

General Volunteer
If you have a special skill, please share it! Here are just a few of the ways ISC volunteers help seniors:

  • Teaching an English or Spanish class (no teaching degree required)
  • Leading a dance or music class
  • “Service with a SMILE”–serving meals at lunchtime and parties
  • Hosting a multicultural holiday celebration
  • Bringing your class or club to offer a special performance for the Seniors

Your particular talent or experience is welcome here! You don’t have to be perfect to be a perfect ISC volunteer.

For more information or to see how you can put your desire to help seniors to best use, please contact Lorena Miller, ISC Life Enrichment Specialist, at lifesp@interculturalseniorcenter.org.
